Servants of Mary

I know I already have a book called the Mater Dolorosa  (Sorrowful Mother)  Which I think is the best book on the Sorrowful Mother for 84 pages.  But Servants of Mary is actually the 1st book that I ever did about 10 years ago in honor of Mary for helping my wife and I with a kidney transplant.  We printed the original in about 160 something pages and handed them out to those who were interested at our Church.  I did want to make this version available to the general public but wanted to do something affordable, hence the Mater Dolorosa, the colorize version for $7.95 and grayscale for $5.95 and it was manageable at 84 pages.  Servants of Mary is a Prayer manual in honor of the Seven Sorrows of Mary.  The size is 5.5 by 8.5 and it is 215 pages and has beautifully illustrated grayscale artwork, and the two books do compliment each other.  Everything in Mater Dolorosa is in Servants of Mary.  The Last couple of years I have handed a few of the Servants of Mary to religious and with the response we received from them, we decided to make it available to the general public.  This book is not perfect bind like other books that are this size, we do not have the funds to print large volumes, so it is going to be done on demand (small inventory ) and will be Comb bine (like a spiral bine).  The covers are laminated and the ones that we have done almost 10 years ago have lasted this long.  The other bonus of being done in small quantities we can personalize the front cover with your name or the name of someone that you want to give it to.  Sorry to ramble on about this book, it is something that still has a special place for us.

The size is 5.5 by 8.5 and it is 215 pages with 75 priceless pieces of artwork that highlight 71 beautiful prayers and also the rich history of the devotion to the 7 dolors of our Blessed Lady.

If you wish to have the cover personalized please tell us in the special instructions on the order or email us at morningstar1208@aol.com

  1. Only 1 year and 4 months late with my review! My apologies for such an extreme delay – I have became very ill right after I received the “Servant of Mary” (and other publications) and am just now recovering.
This beautiful publication is beyond price, both in its precious substance and its presentation.
Just the first part of the book, alone, would have been reason enough to purchase it: “Origin and Propagation of the Devotion to the Seven Dolors of our Blessed Lady”. To my delight, the Publisher went far, far beyond that.
At our finger tips, we can find the very extensive section: “Exercises and Prayers in Honor of our Lady of Seven Dolors”, with every imaginable devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows included. I can’t imagine anything necessary to this specific devotion lacking. The only “problem” (and what a “problem to have!) would be to find enough days in the year to follow these beautiful devotions, many of which correspond to the Traditional Liturgical Seasons of the Church.
This publication has become a great treasure to me, and every faithful Catholic would benefit from having access to (and praying!) these beautiful prayers.
May God bless, and Mary keep, the Publisher who has made all these wonderful books available to us.
